Now, on to 2018!! I kicked off this year with a double header wedding in FEBRUARY! Totally out of the norm, but totally awesome if you ask me. This wedding right here was nothing more than my absolute pleasure to capture. Jordyn and I go way back to 5th grade through high school days- hanging out in her parent's camper, tormenting her triplet brothers, sleepovers and sitting together at lunch. Life has led us apart from those days, as it tends to do, but I still hold all of those great memories of us growing up close to my heart. And now I'm good friends with those brothers we used to torment! I just can't stay away from those damn Theims I guess! 😊
Anyway, as you can imagine, I was so excited when Jordyn asked me to capture her wedding day... In February, with snow on the ground, at a beautiful venue, and guys-- IT SNOWED!! It was perfect and a New England photographer's winter wedding dream! Jordyn looked absolutely stunning in her lace covered dress with champagne underlay and fur shawl. She chose a deep red color that looked gorgeous on each girl and paired it with cute little snow boots and blanket scarves. The boys wore handsome dark navy suits and ties to match the girls with sweet little pinecone boutonnieres. Inside, the decor matched her winter theme perfectly with the little pinecones and white flowers throughout her centerpieces. Wait...... did I mention that it snowed?! Yes, yes I did. Well, how do you have a more perfect winter wedding than that?! We had so much fun taking pictures underneath the floodlight that illuminated all the tiny flakes falling around us. It made these two look like they were straight out of a romance movie. You guys were awesome!!
Jordyn & Zack, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day. Jordyn, I am so happy that you found your happily ever after. Even though this was my first time meeting Zack, you guys seem totally perfect together. The way you look at one another says it all! I am truly so happy for you both and I wish the best of the best to you in your future as Mr. & Mrs. Dockstader!
xoxo
