Late September, I had the pleasure of driving up to beautiful Portsmouth, NH to photograph the sweet Angelina and Chris on their wedding day! I grew up a York Beach girl, so we never made the stop in Portsmouth before, just drove on right past it... but after this wedding, my eyes were opened to the quaint beauty of the adorable town. It reminded me so much of a mini Bar Harbor- the narrow streets, the cobblestone and cute beach shops and restaurants... I will definitely be making my way back there some day! On top of all this, my second shooter had been there before, letting us know about a perfect little garden and pier on the ocean where we could get photos after the ceremony.. and when I say perfect, just you wait and see! We came out of the ceremony fighting for time as the sun was about to set. Luckily, their friend and officiant had a SWEET Cadillac and offered to drive us down to the garden. The September wind was a little chilly off the water, but Angelina and Chris absolutely rocked their photos! I had so much fun with these two and our awesome scenery. If all of this wasn't enough, their reception was so full of love and emotion, from remembering those they love oh-so-dearly, to heartfelt toasts, to a packed dance floor all night long- these two had a truly lovely night that will always be near and dear to all the hearts in attendance.
